had a quick search on the forum but didn't find anything... anyone got any links for simple SEO - at least the basics for a beginner?

I believe that seo should always be done by a professional. there is a lot of things that go into seo. But if you are looking for a place where you can learn the basics of seo. Just do a search on google or visit websites like seochat.com, they have some good tutorials

i am a professional :) i'll have a look at those. if i have a good understanding of html/css/etc then i'm sure i can learn the devil's art that is SEO ;)
