I have a horrendous problem that I am unable to solve... I have called Microsoft's Paid FrontPage support and they blame it on server extensions... But I believe it to be a problem with FrontPage 2002 and server side includes...
Specific pages I created in FrontPage 2000 which feature includes are totally destroyed when opened in FrontPage 2002!!! I receive a message that says "The contents of the FrontPage component have been modified and will be changed when saved to the server" Guess what, it saves it even if I close without saving... It seems to add unneccessary checksum tags in the code.
I was forced to roll back on one of my computers to FrontPage 2000 to correct the problem. I do receive the same message every time I open the page in FrontPage 2000, but it does not change the formatting of the page?
Is this a FrontPage problem?
Is this a Server problem?
What can I do about fixing the problem and even eliminating the message in FP2000?
