Form Puzzler - 12/18/2007 7:50:46
I am stuck. I created a form before and it all worked and i even documented it all but I have got a horrible feeling i am missing something obvious on my form, Id be so grateful if you could help.

In a nutshell, the redirect only will not work on my form. The form is using fommail.php which I have renamed and the form submits absolutely fine and the results are mailed but I cannot get the redirect to work, any ideas?

Please ignore the content of the site:) Its no where near finished, I want the form to work first then i can work on the web side.

Why are you redirecting to Google? The usual idea is to go to a thank you page on your own site.

I only put google in to test it as a url. the form submits but goes to the cust_form.php (formmail.php) renamed. it doesnt matter if i put in test.htm (which is my test thank you page) it still doesnt redirect to it:)

when i first set up the form months back it uses the cust_form.php but you dont see it, it just redirected to ...eg test.htm? im stuck, thanks.

????? Works on my end.

When I try it I am taken to "cust_form.php"

which states "thank you for your submission".

Have you tried changing this part of the code:

<form method="POST" action="/cust_form.php">

Or am I now just seeing the light that you are referring to the redirect value of the code that is causing the problem.

Thats what is there now:)

What I ma trying to do is that when a customer clicks the submit button on the form it goes to a thank you page, however the cust_form.php is only used to 'divert' the results to my email, at least this is how it worked before.
I have tried every configuration on the redirect eg /test.htm www.....designs.co.uk/test.htm..www.google.co.uk and none redirect:)

I think it will be easier for me to rename and put some html in the cust_form actually thinking about it as I cant redirect to 2 pages which is puzzling as i did previously.
If anyone does know how to, id be grateful, if not, thats what i will do, thank you.
