FrontPage 2002 From form to new page - 12/19/2007 21:40:58
I'm trying to create a form page that will be submitted to our email address when the submit button is pressed. However, I need for a NEW PAGE from the website to appear once the form is submitted. By filling out the form, it enables access to enter a different part of our site. Without the form, they cannot go to the other part of our site. But, keep in mind.....I need the email information to be sent to our email address.

Hi and Welcome to OutFront. Have you tried changing the confirmation page in the form properties?

Hi- Someone has suggested redirecting is what I need to do. This is complicated to me. Don't really understand it yet. I typed in redirect in HELP and was trying to figure it out. We'll see. If you have any suggestions, I'll certainly be appreciative.

As Roger advised you can change the confirmation page. RIGHT CLICK ON FORM>>SELECT FORM PROPERTIES>>SELECT OPTIONS BUTTON>>SELECT CONFIRMATION PAGE TAB. Hope it helps

I am no web pro by no means. Have never simply published a whole site. Only done maintenance on 2 or 3 pages at a time. I am doing a whole new site now (blind)! I don't know what ASP is. I have not published this site yet so I don't know what works and doesn't work.

Did you follow Swoosh's instuctions? It seems they have all given you great advice. If you are relying on FP to handle the form, you should always be publishing and not using FTP
