Hi,

I am trying to create a website. Currently it is only a homepage (www.parcsupport.nl) but for some reason I am unable to get the logo (JPG) displayed. I have uploaded the logo to an image folder on the site, but it does not show. Nor does it show when you test the page in FP. I tried with another picture and that worked without a problem. I designed the logo in Photoshop and saved it as a JPG file.

Any suggestions?????

Is the image http://www.parcsupport.nl/images/logocompleetC2007.JPG - if so I see it. Images Do Not Appear on My Website might also help when naming your images

Thanks for your answer. Yes that is indeed the image. Are you able to see it on the site??? Why am I unable to see it. Not only on this pc but also on my laptop??

the only thing I see is the frame with a small red X

I get the message "image can't be displayed because it contains errors" which probably means that the image is corrupted - try uploading it again to the webserver and see if that helps.

The link that Corey sent probably also says this but it's wise to have image file names without spaces, all lowercase and without the words "banner" or "ad" (some firewalls will block these).

Well I played around some more. Opened the picture in paint and saved it under a new name and now it works!!

From time to time, the image can get corrupted I have noticed. I ran into the same issue awhile back and now it is one of the first things I check. Even using a simple program to "convert" it to a jpg format again has helped.

But glad it is working and good luck with the site!
