Search Engine Question - 1/1/2008 16:25:53

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

I search Google for different things on a daily basis. When you search the larger website you see their search results broke down under the same listing, a good example is Lexmark.

http://www.google.com/search?q=Lexmark&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B2GGGL_enUS176US176

How can I set my search results to do this?

I have several thousand pages on our site and 1.5 million visitors a month. I thinks this could help our visitors find what they are looking for mush quicker.

if anyone can help let me know, and thanks in advance and I hope everyone had a great New Years!

Each of their pages has been optimised to figure highly in the search results. As they are Lexmark and not too many other companies are called Lexmark and all the content is about Lexmark, then all their pages appear at or near the top.

If you're competing in a much bigger market then it's going to be pretty difficult for you to get more than one or two like that.

Make sure you have a sitemap and set up a Google XML sitemap as well and submit it to them.
