some images not appearing on site - 1/4/2008 11:27:53
Hi
I am helping a friend create a website for his business. This is my first attempt. I created the website in FrontPage 2002 on my computer, then copied it onto his computer and uploaded it with FTP Commander. The problem is that only some of the photos appear. They are all stored in the same folder and I have checked that the file paths are the same. Any idea what is causing this problem and what I can do to I can do fix it?

What browser is this happening in? Which images is this happening to? Your Garden page just crashed my browser so there may well be something wrong there but I can't check!
Don't know but it certainly used to be considered a bad idea to give images names with spaces in them - try renaming the images removing the spaces and see if that helps (try with one at least).
Edit: I managed to open the tableware page but also can't see the photos - I tried to find the photo via the path in your image tag and it doesn't appear to be there so check that you've actually uploaded the photos.

When you use things like navigation (as you have) in FP it needs the Front Page Server Extensions on the server and you should use Publish not FTP to upload your pages to the server.
Most of the images were missing on the garden page for me and I used Firefox to look at the site.

We ended up buying a domaine name and hosting: www.ceramika.uk.com. And so far, it's working better.

Yes all your images are there for me in Firefox and IE7. But for future use you would find it safer not to use spaces in your file names - odd things can and will happen with them.

I would rename this to images/garden_photos/shrunk/applique.jpg - getting rid of the capitalization too if possible.
