Thanks for the advice and for the constructive criticism. I plan on pulling out the "fix" on the height. It was just one of my attempts to try and get it to look right. I also think you are right about adding just a tad of cell padding. Swoosh, your solution seems to be the best one I have at the moment, but I see myself running into problems with that if I make a site wide adjustment. I don't have any plans to make my navigation on the left any smaller (should only get larger), but if I do, then I will have to go back and fix each cell on each page individually. I will run into the same problem if I add text to the body of the article. That was the reason why I switched from the spacer.gifs. I don't mind adjusting them now because the site is only 60 pages or so, but when it gets to be 400 pages that will be tedious. Other suggestions that might correct the problem would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Shirley
