Paydex -> give it to me over the head- i've steeled myself (1/6/2008 3:26:14)

yeah, ok, so here (me) is a fellow that knows mucho about business credit- but not too much about site design.

I'd like to ask for critique of my site:

http://www.businesscreditblueprint.com

and

http://www.vecruitment.com/

(which is a mock up - in progress version which I am working on to use as a replacement for http://www.businesscreditblueprint.com once it's proper.)

go ahead. please yell and scream at me and tell me how ugly and horrible and not aesthetically pleasing and how it pushes people away and how its too loud and noisy and....

(i've wrapped my face in a towel to soften the blows)

1st site:
DON't underline anything that's not a link!!!

you need some sort of heading/header at the top

i don't read these sort of sites - as soon as i see this kind of layout i close it, but this is at least simple and clear enough

2nd site: damn that's a busy site!!! i don't know where to look!!!

try fading the background image (that you see either side of main content)

"At this point, you are either going to click in the upper right-hand corner of this site and click away,"

i don't see anything in the upper right-hand corner ... !

in the top rigth hand corner of your sceen (in windows[8|]) you can close a window by "x"ing out...

thats what i meant...

hmm... (off to dim the image...!)

Sorry but both of those sites are the sorts of things I see on a daily basis that result from clicking spam links. Like Dave, the instant I see one I go away.

Just out of interest, do you have links with any of the companies whose logos you've splashed all over the page....and do you have permission to use those logos?

Paydex -> RE: give it to me over the head- i've steeled myself (1/9/2008 6:38:48)

i'm not afiliated with them. I am offering information on how to get lines of credit FROM them.

Sole proprietorship vs. Corporation?

are you aware that in the US in recent years, most companies are choosing to be neither? Limitied Liability - LLC - is becoming the preferred structure for small to medium companies

Yes but I think you might find you need their permission to use their logos.

LLC is an abbreviations of Limited Liability Company, a form of incorporation- exceot that it has a hybrid feature of being nonexistant for TAX purposes.
