Hyperlinks stop working after Meta Tags enterd - 1/6/2008 14:58:21
Would some one help I am beginner in FrontPage2003. When Meta Tags: Titltles, Description, Keywords entered on the web pages. When Previewed the internal page button's hyperlink stop working. Some files names, all jpg, and htm file changed in capital letters. Even typed small letters displays in capital letters.

It is not in page. I have in about 1.00 mb size. How to upload the file from reply menu?
I can not locate any around File title at left bottom corner.
Would you guide me?

You e-mailed me the entire FP Web Site, but I don't know the page with the issue?
I opened up the FP Site, clicked around on some of the links, all of them worked fine. Maybe you could restart your computer and see if the problem still exists?

Hello Bobby Douglas,
Thank you for quick reply. Inside preview mode of FP the About-us, Photos, and Contact buttons not working. For moving into other pages. In internet explorer these buttons are working.
Before doing meta tags, they are working in preview mode too.
Any reason some file names changed in capital letters.

Does it work when you try to preview it in a browser such as Internet Explorer?

Hello Bobby,
Yes when I see in browser Internet Explorer it is working all the three pages. Interlink buttons also working. This is my exercise. I tried from scratch and upto hyperlinks it works with preview in FP all buttons. After entering title, description, keywords in meta tags it is not jumping to next page.

You tested it before you entered that information? What happens when you remove the information you added?
From what I remember, you can't go to internal site links within FP's Preview button, but you can go to external links.

Hello Bobby,
Before entering the information it works all links. After removing I will let you know tomorrow.
Internal links works in Preview in FP 2003. When remvoed the meta tags, the file name automatically changed in capitals letters. including some file names and graphics file names in image folders.

I did another exercise and found that in preview section FP will only shows as a link. At bottom of task bar web page name are displaying.
You are rightly told, in preview section it will not go next link. When in browser it click on buttons hyperlinks, it is jumping to other web page.
This time I added the meta tags : titles, keywords, descriptions. After entering these information in web browser web pages are working. I am using FP 2003.
