ORIGINAL: aoogly101 i DO have a million-dollar worthy site So does the guy quoted in this blog apparently: http://www.smartmobs.com/2007/03/06/where-people-trade-favors-for-cash/ quote:
The concept is very simple: JobFavors.com connects people who are in need of favors with people who are in need of cash! You can search tens of thousands of favors posted by people in your community. Doing a little deed for your neighbor is now a profitable adventure. Founder Eric Iravani writes Smartmobs: “Our goal is to connect people who are in need of favors with people who are in need of cash. It’s a mix between an odd jobs board with a touch of social networking for the good of local communities (hopefully a recipe for success)” Hmmmm....something doesn't quite add up here. Compare these two sentences: "my name is alex williams and i own jobfavors.com. i purchased the site about a year ago" and "Founder Eric Iravani writes..." ...and people wonder why I have a suspicious mind! *sigh*

I bought the site from eric. We still keep in contact but just shows how I don't know anything about web stuff that i havent even entered a blog because i dont know how to. I bought it in hopes of being able to attract some big companies to it but once i got in i realized how much i dont know about this, I don't even know how to change my adsense ads to relate to the site. ( you'll notice the ads are completely irrelivent). But yes I do in fact own the site and eric still does own a small share as well. So can someone help me please?

Currently on JobFavors.com there are 4 Favors in 37 Categories among 114 Cities throughout the United States. Having the site for over a year now and wanting to attract big companies for advertisements, I would concentrate first on attracting members.

It comes down to this, if you really feel that you have a million dollar website, you shouldn't mind taking out a loan to put some money into it. I'm sure people here will be more than happy to answer questions for you, but it sounds like you may need some personalized help getting things going. If you really think it will make money, then there shouldn't be a problem investing some of your money into it (if you don't have any, you can take out a loan).
