shopping engine software development - 1/13/2008 21:52:42
I am a newbie to this thread and in the process of researching a business idea. I have learned a ton from reading through all of these posts, however I have not found an answer to my posing question.
I am creating a website that will have a product shopping guide (I will not be directly selling products) with a very specific niche. I am looking into to creating a cpc or cpa model for business/traffic that I send to our "partnered merchants". I envision product information would be managed through datafeeds.
I understand that large shopping engines use this model, but I am looking to do this on a much smaller scale with, like I said earlier, a very specific niche.
Is there any management software out there for this type of business model or are there any companies that specialize in this type of development?
Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not quite sure i know what you want, but we use www.web2market.com They specialize in able commerce shopping cart software, but their programmers can customize it to do about anything. :)Fala
