link bar spacing (Full Version)

i am using frontpage 2003, our web was developed on an older version. I selected the style tab from the link bar properties and selected a different style for my link bars. The problem is in spacing. When looking at it in design mode the links appear single spaced and are fine. In preveiw they are double spaced and not acceptable. I have looked at the html code but can not find any code that lets me address the spacing. can you help. thanks, Pats

In design view, you may need to delete the line breaks in the code as it can effect the design output.
Do you have an example?
