Hi, I have a question in HTML. How can I make a link to some command line that include in windows like PING or MSTSC? I mean something like
<a href="mstsc"> click </a>

which is not working......

You can't. It is a limitation of the computer you are on.

If you know where the file is on someone's computer, you can link to it that way.

For example, if you want to link to notepad, you can use file:///C:/WINDOWS/NOTEPAD.EXE in the href part of the link.

When a user clicks the link, it will open up notepad. This may only work in Internet Explorer though...

Hi
Thanks for your help.
In your example it makes the file download to the computer
what I need is to run the application....
Any idea for me?

It will depend on the browser, it is not something you can set yourself. You can, however, put a note to your users that they will need to either click Open or Save to Disk in order to run the file.
