my Virtual Tour is complete-please review - 1/28/2008 8:43:37
Hello All; I commonly come to the outfront boards for advice and i was wondering if some of you gifted web developers would critique my site.. FIRST, i would like to set it up.. This is a one page (basically) "Virtual Tour" that i created for a realtor. (im a realtor too). Anyway, the point is to get the house noticed with pictures and a panorama (should have more than 1 panorama but the house sold already). Anyway, I built this site for a friend of mine and she likes it. It comparable and hopefully better than my comprtitors (one being www.circlepix.com) Please provide me with constructive criticism (which i know you will). Simply so that i can better myself... my site www.3sagebrushlane.com Thank you in advance... Dave

Dave, If there's a decided pricing advantage for your customer, I'd stay with what you have. IDX/MLS, yard flyers, virtual tours, print advertising, other marketing efforts are in place for one reason and one reason only - to generate a (listing agent/floor call/buyer broker) showing appointment. The IEC (Internet Empowered Consumer) is inundated with information (especially in a Buyers market) - so much to choose from, so little time. All this is, I suppose, is analogous to a resume; a good one gets you an interview - but it won't get you the job. Soooo, cover all possible bases in a professional manner and it will result in the desired result at some point whether it relates to your personal production or that of a REALTOR web site customer. If you need help with IDX, couple of good threads here via search.
