Creating a simple login to members area - 1/28/2008 16:26:53
After days of searching the internet for a working script I am getting more and more lost, trying scripts that in the end do not work.

I am looking for a very simple script. I want a group of visitors to be able to visit member pages on my website. I do not want them to create an user account, they should only be able to log-in and get access to certain pages. I will create the accounts (username/password) myself manually.

Questions are:

How do I create and maintain the table with log-in and password
How do the users log-in
How do I set up the pages they are allowed to visit

I know for sure there are also working solutions on this forum, but s far I have been unable to find it. Who points me in the right direction???

By the way I am of course using frontpage 2003 for the creation of the website.

Best regards,

Arne

Have you looked at the FP tutorial on this site?
