Problem with Wireless Router Connecting Please Help - 2/1/2008 9:14:56
Ok here's the deal, my wife and I have identical Toshiba Satellite Laptops . She is in Poland right now and I am in California. The only way we can see each other is when she goes to the Local Library there and connects on the wireless so we can web cam chat. She has been connecting no problem now for a long time.
But today she went to the library, and after she turned on her computer and saw there was the "same signal as before" available she tried to connect. But it would keep stopping and saying it could not connect. There is no password for this router it's open to everyone she even checked with the library people.
When she clicked on "diagnose" it told her this.....("Wireless association failed because Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point".)
Now up until today we have never had a problem and my computer has no problems. SO could someone please help and give us some ideas on what to do?
