NEWBIE HELP WITH FORMS - 2/2/2008 15:37:22
I am trying to do a form for the first time and it's not going well. I used the forms wizard and got a basic form to appear, but I can't make it put the data anywhere. (Right now I'd like it just on my computer, but at some point I'll want to have it on my GoDaddy hosted server.) Any thoughts or suggestions for getting the data from the form into some sort of database?

The Reply Form has to be published to a host server with the capability of handling FrontPage extensions before you can see the Submit acknowledgement and receive information directed to your email address as entered on the Reply Form.

FrontPage has this capability but requires a server with PHP capabilities. First I suggest that: (1) you get the basic component Reply Form working first (make sure GoDaddy can accomodate FrontPage Extensions before you pony-up $$ for hosting) then (2) post your DB question either here or on the OF data base forum.

Welcome to OutFront!
