uploading files problem - 2/24/2008 11:11:15
Hi

I'm getting this message a lot lately

The file "xxx" was skipped because the old remote file could not be deleted

Everything has worked really well (past 5 years) until the last two or three days. I now seem to have problems uplaoding files, some go and some don't. Once I have this message in the Dreamweaver logs I just can't seem to access that file again.

Any help would be appreciated

(i have acces to the server but cannot see any issues - that are obvious anyway - except i can't delete it even at source level - says file in use)

Can you delete the file via an FTP programme and then upload the new file?

I've spoken to ISP and fingers are pointing towards Dreamweaver atteh moment. Is it worth uninstalling & reinstalling?
