Batch Publish Question - 2/25/2008 23:34:45
Hi I am in the midst of developing a multi-user site. The way I have everything set up thus far is that if I ever wanted to change certain look and feel criteria of peoples profiles I would have to change many different folders, albeit all in the same way. My question is if I have one folder that I want to transfer/overwrite to a bunch, is there a way to do it automatically instead of one at a time? I currently have Frontpage 2003. If not with Frontpage, than anyone know a program that will do it? I've never used FTP but would switch if that is an option with it. Thanks.

If you make changes to any of your pages in your FrontPage web, FrontPage will overwrite any of those files on the server. Are you using CSS? This might be helpful as well

Yeah I guess that makes sense, I just wasn't thinking that way cause I wasn't sure that I was going to store everyone's personal folders on my computer. Another concern though was that if I publish it seems like Frontpage overwrites over any folder permission presets I may have made. Is that true to your knowledge? Thanks!
