flash and swish within intro with hyperlink - 3/7/2008 22:21:52
I purchased a template that has a flash intro. There is also a swish file involved. Originally I paid the template company to make font changes and place a graphic in the intro as I don't know flash and swish very well.
The original files did not contain a hyperlink from each box that roles in to www.site.com; the revised swish file does. I'm thinking it was put in as a placeholder so I could change it maybe? At any rate, I didn't know about it and my client discovered it after the site was up and I can't change it. I downloaded the swishmax demo and have found the file, but when I change the link to what I need it to be...I cannot get the file to work properly with the intro. I get an error or only part of the movie.
Since this discovery the person who performed the original changes for me denies doing all of them i.e. adding the graphic and wants to charge even more to get rid of and/or change the link.
I do not have a swi file only the swf file; however this is all the person who charged me to begin with had as well.
So I tried opening the swf file and saving it as a swi...then making the text change and saving/exporting it to no avail. I need help badly please as to why this isn't working.
