EW upgrade and Office - 3/10/2008 19:37:14
Hi! I just bought a new laptop. I needed Expression but not a lot of other MS software so the tech person where I bought the beastie suggested to just buy/install Office Home and Student and to additionally purchase EW as it would be less expensive. Well I did, and I just recieved the EW software in the mail, BUT, and my question is are there two different upgrades/programs?? The MS website says it will work with any registered Office product. The software box says "Upgrade for any MS FP product," and doesn't mention it'll work with any Office. I'm wary about opening the box... any advice? I do have the EW trial version downloaded from the MS site... what to do?? Will this one work?

Expression Web is not included in the MS Office Suite. It is part of another group. However, if you have a license for that - you might qualify for an upgrade to Expression Web
If you received Expression Web in the mail, it could be an "upgrade" from FrontPage. You are qualified for an Expression Web License if you have one of the following
- Adobe/Macromedia Creative Suite (any version)
- Adobe/Macromedia Dreamweaver (any version)
- Adobe/Macromedia Flash or Director (any version)
- Adobe GoLive (any version)
- Microsoft Office (any version)
- Microsoft FrontPage (any version)
