New guy here. Been building sites for myself since mid 90's. Consulted and reviewed sites while working at university. Built one for pay last year and now getting into it more (and photography).

Have a look at my site and let me know what you think.

Warnings are OK unless you want to go through specifying text and background colours for every single tag in there.

There are a couple of errors on the inner pages - nothing that can't be fixed easily.

I'd also look at:

1. Adding a focus event for your navigation items - where you've got #navigation a:hover {etc} I'd make it:

#navigation a:focus, #navigation a:hover, #navigation a:active {etc}

That will then work for keyboard users and IE!

2. Add labels to your form to help it's accessibility - especially since you're using a table to organise the form.

3. Make the data table on your hosting page a bit more accessible by adding in TH etc in - more details here

Hi,

I think your website is really nice.:)

Design:
The design is simple and well spaced out. The information on pages are nicely aligned with the left navigation. Using the left navigation bar, it was easy to go to different areas of the website with just a few clicks. The banner and use of pictures also add to the appeal of this website.

Content:
The homepage is very informative as it tells the user exactly what the website is about.

Overall, this website is well made.

I'm not an SEO expert, but I would avoid having a header
Under Construction

Present Clients

or

Design Stage

etc.

might work better

nice site. just one comment. even though you have small portfolio, you already are a tad repititious with color combos. we all do it - certain colors we prefer. however, it selling to others with their own taste, you might want some diversity in there. just a thought. (I am usually thoughtless)

very true

You ask the client what they colors want, and they leave it to you.

You post a great looking, and almost original site..... then they want blue+grey

Nice professional looking design, everything is well aligned and ood use of white space.
The text is easy to read and the colours are gentle, although I might like a bit more colour pizazz - personal taste.
I love the logo.

From an e-commerce perspective (I'm using criteria from a course I'm taking for Internet Application Programming to critique the site):
- its immediately obvious what your site is about and you're selling your service right away on the home page
- Easy to navigate and get required information
- I would like a bit more pricing information - perhaps a few more examples added to the "for under $500.00" one.

It is a very nice site, the first impression is quite good. The first page is simple and clear, I like it as it is very effective on showing what the site is about. Overall color scheme is simple but to me it is a good thing.

One thing though, seems little bit odd initially when seeing the site is offering services on web site design and photography at the same time ;-) Oveall is very good site.

PS. Comments are based on the knowledge learned from my study of E-commerce course as an Internet Applications Programmer student.
