Help replacing "Site Name Here." (Full Version)

Hi group.
I'm working with the free template, Sandstone (want to get my feet wet in FP before I spend $$ for a template and find out I'm over my head!).
Can someone walk me through the process of replacing the "Site Name Here" with the actual name of my site?
When I click the area, I get a little box <body> with a drop down, and I little box <!--webbot--> with a drop down, but the drop down choices (select tag, select tag contents, edit tag, etc.) don't make sense to me.
I was hoping for a "your text here" option......

Any advice much appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to Outfront

The area you are wanting to modify is an include file named "head.htm". You will find that in the folder named "_Includes". Just open up the file "head.htm" and make your modifications and save. Then go to the index file and your changes should be rendered on the index page.

That sounds familiar, and I will get right on it!
I have my current site built on a template I used a few years ago...
needs updating, but can't find that on my computer, at all (too much
housekeeping).....so am kind of having to start over. (unless someone knows a
way to "import" a current website into FP and make changes!)

I appreciate your prompt reply.

Import is a no-no. Publishing Down is a go-go:

(1) In FrontPage, open your server files by clicking File >>Open, (2) Browse to “My Network Places” (3) In the File Name field type the complete web site address, for example: " http://www.yourwebsite.com", (4) Enter your username & password when prompted, (5) Once the server files open in FrontPage click File >> Publish Site and, (6) For the address to publish, enter a destination on your hard drive, for example: C:\My Documents\My Webs\mysite. (Note: if the location doesn’t exist on your hard drive, you will be prompted to “Create? Yes or No”. Answer Yes.)

Thank you for picking up on my NOT too subtle hint for help on getting a version of my formerly made website to edit. At least, I think that is what you are describing, correct?

By "publishing down," and following the procedure you outlined, I'll end up getting an editable copy of my currently published FP web on my hard drive, right???

(I just want to be sure I don't accidentally publish any draft work UP to the live web...it may take me several days to get the editing finished...a few dead links, etc, to fix, and I don't want it looking WORSE than it already does in the meantime).

With the help of you kind folks, my nominal knowledge of FP 2000 (which is what I previously used) is coming back to me.....

I so appreciate your assistance.

Yes. Since the location doesn't exist on your hard drive, the publish down site will have a different name initially. At that point (1) rename your old site to, e.g. , "bad site" and (2) rename the new site to, e.g., "good site". This will prevent confusion as you clean-up the good site files prior to publishing up to the host server this being the final step.
