Boldness issues in Safari - 3/23/2008 5:17:39
Hi, nice forum! I'm currently tweaking a site and I noticed some typography issues with Safari (latest version). This is the first time I have ever used Safari, so I don't know if this is normal. The product links on my site are being ultra bolded, compared to other browsers. The font I am using is Arial, and in my opinion looks great in Firefox, so so in IE 7, and just too bold in Safari.

The site link is below, if you have Safari you can compare it to other browsers, you'll notice a huge difference in boldness rendering between Safari and Firefox. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

it seems to be just how safari does it - there was a similar post on here a few weeks ago - and afaik there's nothing you can do. apparently it's quite bold on a mac too ;) (i'm on pc). i wouldn't worry about it too much, though it is a bit annoying. you could try googling, yahooing or whatevering for this and see if it turns up any solution, though i doubt it.

If like you say is true, then Mac users are use to it and there is nothing to worry about. Thanks!
