I need a Web based editor - 3/29/2008 10:32:44
Hello, My customer wants to edit his files on server by himself. Like a blog page, he wants to edit html pages, change text, images etc. I hear about Plesk. Do you recommend it or is there an easy and user friendly prog to do it? Thanks

Let them use Wordpress. IMHO it is not a good idea to edit HTML live on the server. From what I read on the Plesk website, Plesk is a server management tool, not an editor of HTML.

Well Plesk is a control panel but they might also have Sitebuilder, can't remember. But check out Content Seed to see if that helps.

I'd second WordPress - if you're familiar with HTML and CSS then it's fairly easy to template - it produces pretty good, accessible code (which separates it from 99% of other CMSs) and it's free!
