d a v e -> free cgi bin anywhere? (3/30/2008 17:12:39)
doing a site that will be for my cousin-in-law but it's just on her ISP web space as she starts out as a self-employed business woman. she may buy hosting in a year or so when the business gets under way.
anyway. i can use the usual cloaking methods for email (e.g. http://www.seowebsitepromotion.com/obfuscate_email.asp ) but would prefer a very simple form using perl but have no cgi bin to run it. is there a place somewhere that allows you to ruin this of thing??

Dave you'll usually find that free ISP space won't allow you to do anything other then bog standard html. There are some very cheap hosts around, anything has to be better than ISP space.

that's what i thought. well i suggested some cheap hosting but my friend wants to start up really cheap (they're not rich and/because they have lots of kids) so i think we'll stick with the ISP space for now and then move after a while when business picks up. :)
thanks
