Student Critique Request - Homepage Innovations - 4/7/2008 12:16:23
Hello all,

I've created a template for a web design class I'm taking. The site would sell web page design contracts. It's basic but none the less your critique on overall appearance would be much appreciated.

It's clean and clear but given what it's there for, it's far too basic. People who come to you for web sites expect to see something that they can picture being their site. Yours needs to have something that makes it stand out from the thousands and thousands of other web designers.

Assuming you are in your first web design class, it is a decent start. Web Design 101 doesnt get you to professional level - it ain't that easy. Best of luck and keep learning

Noticed that you already have Google ads on your class assignment web page. Who gets the money from them, you or your instructor?

As you might have guessed the ads are there to merely learn how to put ads on a page. I make zero money from it and don't intended to make my from it.

Thanks for the comments! I'm glad it looks clean and I do agree that it is most likely too basic for what is really required in the industry.
