Web Server Frontpage Error - 4/12/2008 23:11:39
Hi, I am currently using IIS coupled with the .Net Framework and Frontpage Server Extensions 2002 to host my website. On my site there are 2 html forms which when submitted are supposed to e-mail me. The thing is they have just stopped working and now all I get is the following error: FrontPage Error User: please report details to this site's webmaster Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details The thing is when i go to the event application log, there is no log of the error. I have re-installed IIS, the server extensions, the framework and even formatted and re-installed XP (by the way the XP re-install worked for about 15 mins and then miraculously it stopped and the error came back) i thought it was the access permissions as i had read on one site, so i gave my I_USR and my Network account Full Control (which is not recommended) and still to no avail. I am totally at a loss here. i really do not know what else to do. Can you help me? Regards, Shaun-Mark

Did you publish the website through Frontpage? Did you check to make sure that basic authentication was set up when FPSE were installed? Were the roles set up properly?
