PayPal and Iframes - 4/21/2008 19:29:49
And they say there is no hell :) I have a page that has one iframe. The left side is the static menu, the right the iframe - where pages load.
A menu item on the left calls a "Donate" page that opens in the iframe and that page has a link to Donate via PayPal.
The link to the Donate at PayPal page works OK.
I want PayPal to open in the iframe - that's not a problem, but I want the return page from PayPal to open in the iframe.
As it is, the iFrame link to paypal opens properly in the Iframe, people Donate and click the submit which should take them to the Than you page in the iFrame, but it doesn't, it open a new window.
Help?

I know what PayPal does - that wasn't my question but I guess you needed an in to attack frames.
Only evil people make frames evil. Don't be angry with frames, be spiteful of evil people and their evil frames.
I make iFrames (little different than "frames") work and work well. Then again - I'm not evil.

Actually, it does work. During the furor over Frames, I found that Flashation has a built in allowance for it's flash menu program to open links in a iframe. It's short, sweet, quick, saves bandwidth, doesn't have to load the same thing more than once (menu) and works and in testing, the sky didn't fall after all.
Good thing the "brainchild of one of the admins" took frames into consideration.
