Is there an HTML tag to disable skype link phone numbers on a website so the links are not clickable?

The only way I know right now is to do it via Skype, but not force it via HTML.

Just a guess but maybe HTML Encode 'em?

i.e.

(800) 123-4567

is:

(800) 123-4567

I just have the phone numbers broken down into a table right now. I could encode them, but it would be a pain to update it. Can you confirm that Skype ignores the numbers if they are encoded like that?

Are they not in a DB? If you need to update them that often, maybe they should. [;)]

Or you can copy/paste from a tool like this:
