Security problem with IE7.0 - 5/4/2008 4:23:16
I reactivated a website made with Fontpage (was FP2000 - now FP2003) - I used javascripts and also the buildin dynamic scripts from Frontpage.

There is a problem with IE7.0 : some code is blocked e.g. active X - scripts
I suppose that the surfer (like me) is not amused with that kind of messages.

Question : is there a possibilty to solve this without remake (rewrite) the site - how ?

Thanks - Paul

Does this just happen when you look at the page locally? (i.e. yellow bar appears at the top of the page?)

If so then no problem - it's IE's local security settings. Shouldn't happen online.

BUT that said - if people have their security settings up high then javascripts will be blocked which is why they should really only be enhancements - the site should work without them (although possibly not as prettily).
