ASP Shopping Cart - 5/8/2008 20:09:24
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced ASP Shopping Cart? Requirements are pretty vague so far. I'm thinking it will need to hold something under 5k items. Work with CCs and maybe Paypal, interface with shipment tracking. Either Access or MS SQL. Might need different currencies later. Something like VP-ASP looks good, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this or some other shopping cart they would recommend. And, if there is anything I should be on the lookout for when obtaining one. thanks!

Hi Brian, I've been using ecommercetemplates for a while and have always had good luck with it. Quite customizeable if you're comfortable with ASP IMO. I think its reasonable anyways and I've been able to adapt it to a lot of situations. Hope it helps. EDIT: PS. I got it to pass HackerSafe quite easily. It doesn't 'straight out of the box' but it's easy to fix.

Thanks, Roger. I'll give that a look too. It is always good to know when something is working well for someone else. ASP mods should be no problem. Of course, I'm hoping I wont need to do any!

Hi Brian, It's been a while since my last visit here. I use ProductCart from Early Impact It's not the cheapest or the most expensive but its very good, well featured and also has loads of SEO features. Your end users will love it. Like many things its horses for courses but for 5000 products it's worth taking a look Nigel

Thanks, Nigel. I'll give it a look, since the ball is in my client's court and I'm waiting to proceed on many fronts still.
