My personal ST Voyager section - 12/10/2001 17:07:48
Hi folks. I have completed my Voyager section. Well, so far anyway. Please have a look and let me know where I can make inprovements. I'd like to get some feedback for doing the rest of them. I did do some work on the Enterprise section already but will be more of an ongoing thing since it's a new show.

Be sure not to leave spaces in file names (this is showing as %20 in the url) and it's a good idea to keep them in lower case.

There's a small horizontal scroll on the home page and pics in 800x600 resolution, and a large horizontal scroll on bios.

Some of these pages could easily be made into several pages. On the navigation, keep all the pages listed instead of having the page you are on not being in the navigation.

Comments is opening into a new window and it seems that FP extensions aren't installed on the server, as it is showing [Frontpage Save Results Component] .

You have a lot of good content and photos here... with a bit more work it'll be even better. I'd mostly like to see more pages instead of such long ones.

Linda

Thanks for the comments Linda. Yeah, it sure needs some work. I'll get at those changes soon. I guess I have to contact the server admin about the comments form. My guestbook seems to work okay though, but since that's just updating a page that must be why.

Thanks again.

You've done a great job. You can enable the fp extensions here:

http://angelfire.lycos.com/doc/general/fpfaq.html#why

Just click on the "enable me" link at the very bottom of the page. It took me forever to find that when I did a site on angelfire. You may need to re-publish your site using the fp publish button to get it working.

Thanks for the info Joy. The weird thing I had done that already. When I was looking through Anglefire's site I came across that section that said to enable FP server extensions. I did before I did any publishing. I have been publishing using FP every time without a problem. I sent them an email so maybe they can help me out. I appreciate your help.

I'll come back and let you folks know when I've done more changes. This webstuff can be tedious at times but making mistakes is part of the learning process. Thanks for all your feedback and support!

Help!!

I got in touch with Angelfire admin. They gave me a link to some code I need to insert in my form. I set it up in my page, HTML view, and published it but it shows up on the page. I don't know anything really about HTML so far so I don't know where I need to put this code.

<B><FORM ACTION="/cgi-bin/script_library/form_handler_mail"
METHOD=POST></B>

<B><INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="email_to"
VALUE="robbiesanweb@hotmail.com"></B>

<B><INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="thanks_for_comments"
VALUE="http://www.angelfire.com/ab6/robbiesan/STVoyager/thank_for_comments.htm"></B>

Please help!
