We host over 1000 FrontPage web sites and out of nowhere, I started getting frantic tickets from customers who could not log into Frontpage anymore. Naturally, I tried to test and sure enough, there were problems. I do not see the "Administration" links anymore nor can my customers logged in. I have no idea what has happened. I have tried the following: - reboot - uninstall / reinstall fp ext - praying Can anyone shed any light on this? This is beyond bizarre!!!


Universal4 Posts: 78 Joined: 7/25/2003 Status: offline	RE: FrontPage Extensions blew up - 6/8/2008 1:24:36 Wow, Speculation at best....but something appears top have set the flag on the extensions version to an older version. Does upgrading the extensions on a site take care of the problem? If it was on a smaller scale I wuld suggest: Try creating a new folder, moving the content into the folder, changing the default directory in IIS to the new folder, and then reinstalling the extensions, but that isn't a very good solution in your case.
