Firefox Trying to Set World Download Record - 5/29/2008 13:31:21
FireFox wants to set the world download record for a single piece of software downloaded within 24 hours for their FireFox 3 release. They are asking people to pledge to download it on the single day, that day still remains unannounced. See their marketing page: Set a Guinness World Record Enjoy a Better Web

The nice thing about this, compared to IE releases, is that there are TONS of people already running the beta version of FF 3. I plan to participate on download day.

I'll probably wait for the GB version to be ready.
