Hosting Recommendations - 6/1/2008 19:58:04
Didn't quite know where to put this post - if there is a more appropriate forum, please let me know.

I'm looking for a good hosting company to be a reseller with. Host Gator looks attractive, but don't know what the catch is. I suspect its the low bandwidth in their plans that's a "gotya"

Can anyone recommend a good hosting company that I can host unlimited web sites that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Thanks! Reggie

Have a look here: http://www.resellerpanel.com/

Haven't tried them yet but they have a lot of good reviews on reseller forums.

And they have a free reseller program but I would recommend that you DON"T use it as you may loose some control of your clients. But the paid accounts seem to be pretty good. Very busy website crammed with info, so read everything carefully.

I tend to avoid like the plague any host with 'Host' something or other in their name.

The best thing to do when looking for hosting is pick a few that look possible then Google them. Bad ones will return a pile of complaining posts. If you only find one or two complaints, check them out but remember there will always be one or two people who moan because they've demanded the impossible and not got it.

I've been using Serverfly who have been fantastic for the last 5 years but recently seem to have had a total brain fart and completely lost it.

I've just moved almost all of my business to Crucial Paradigm who seem pretty amazing so far.

For UK hosts I can't speak highly enough of UKWSD although they are more pricey than US versions.

Infoquest!
I've used them a long time and I wish every business would be as efficient as they are. A great Windows based hosting company.
