FP2002 Version Control - 12/11/2001 8:48:08
Have FPSE2002 installed on a NT4 Backup Domain Controller AND a standalone server, both with IIS4. We have been using the built-in source control for some time without a problem until the other day. Now when someone opens or checks out a page, the 'lock' icon appears instead of the red check mark. There is no 'check-in' option available. When the user closes the page, then re-opens it, it states that it is checked out by that same person. I already read Q294421 and Q298745 and have checked the anonymous settings, which look fine. We did change the account used for anonymous access on the Backup Domain Controller from the IUSR_computername on our Primary Domain Controller to another domain account with the same persmissions (log on locally, etc.) and have checked NTFS permissions in the content, program files, system32 directories but no go. What really is strange is that our stand-alone web server also does this. It is using its local IUSR_account! Even though I can't find the problem I think it may be a permissions issue. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the extensions several times, no luck. The webs effected are all root webs in INETPUB, not subwebs in Inetpub\wwwroot\ Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
