Does anybody know of a Bulletin Board that links to Paypal on registration. I would like people on registration to pay a one year subscription via Paypal.

I would like the board to be visible to all visitors, only the registered users would pay.

Anyone know of anything that would support this?

I do currently use Snitz forums which is an ASP based forum, might there be a way to convert this forum for my needs?

Cheers

Steve

Steve,

You may wish to read this:

before pursuing.

Hi Larry

Yes, I saw that earlier. I have to say it is a little worrying! However, I need to take money at registration somehow.

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

Jaybee: "I have to say I allow some clients to pay by PayPal but only up to a maximum of £500. Think I'll switch to Nochex."

Not familiar with the Nochex service (GB/continent only?) however the referral source is unimpeachable. You may wish to explore before making a final decision.

Steve, VBulletin has that option for paid subscription - http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/

Drop me a line if you want an unused license for cheaper than normal.
There is a conversion process form Snitz as well

Thanks for the replies.

I am currently looking at two options. VB looks like it might be the way to go; I may contact you Spooky about the license.

Also, I have a subscription module for Snitz which might allow me to go that route.

I'll post my findings in case it is of interest to anyone.

Steve
