Its ideal for my needs and the only real script that suits my needs. The authors seem to provide NIL support and there is no user forum - I cannot get the program to run and am looking for any forum members with any experience or ideas to help.... thanks - this link helps give more info on where I got the software from. Its referred to here as DosWare Pays but its the same. http://www.dosware.com/internet.htm A firm called Alstrasoft seems to be selling a clone, but I cannot afford to risk buying this due to previous time/money wasting - I prefer Open Source. It's a fairly critical bit of kit given that it's handling customer finance details and it's not being updated any more with security fixes. websi7 Posts: 2 Joined: 6/7/2008 Status: offline	RE: seeking support for DoPays e-commerce - 6/8/2008 0:00:05 Thanks Jaybee Yes I was aware there is no support for DoPays, I did email the authors and ask "nicely" if anyone does know the product but no reply (yet). I looked at Hotscripts there was 3 scripts, 1 a dead link, the other a very poor demo and seems to be not available due to a take over. The 3rd and as such most practical was a script EPay offered by Alstrasoft, at around 190 USD, it seems a clear clone of DoPays which I think was developed in the Ukraine as far back as 2004. Problem is I have bought a script from Altrasoft before which was a clone of another script - and there was argument as to whoes script it realy was. In this case there was a lot of bugs and although they did give some support in the end I abandoned it and bought a (cheaper) another clone of the same script and paid to have it installed - it worked 100%. Maybe soon I will find what I seek - I have a lead to one called Solarpay which is clearly ANOTHER clone of DoPays - its $50 USD so could be worth a punt. I think it is in PHP as DoPays is in html (proving its age) Thanks again for your tip - I am in Rugby UK and an avid developer of web sites. (in reply to jaybee)

There are some things that would be useful that just don't seem to have much available in the way of scripts. I've been searching for ages for a couple of things for one of my own sites without luck. I could write them myself but it's all a matter of time and I suspect that unless I need one for a client site and therefore get paid for development, it's not going to happen. All I will say is anything involving financial stuff needs to be rock solid.
