Nameserver issues - 6/9/2008 8:54:07
I have a dilemma.

I'm tryingto change nameservers on my .biz, .org and .com domains managed at UKReg to point to my new server at a different host. Al lteh .co.uk domain nameserver changes have gone through without a hitch. However, when i try to change the namserver records to ns1.mydomain.co.uk and ns2.mydomain.co.uk UKReg give me an error message saying that the nameserver ns1.mydomain.co.uk doesn't exist at the registries - contact the domain name where teh host domain name (mydomain.co.uk )was registered, ie not them!

My hosting company with whom I have a dedicated server and registered a domain name to be used as my nameserver records tell me that my nameservers are working correctly. Indeed for .co.uk domains, all is working fine.

Both companies can't be right! One is saying all is OK (host) and one isn't (UKReg).

How do i check who is right and get this issue resolved quickly please?
