I don't know if anyone's posted this here previously, but here's a site that writes .htaccess files for you!

That's pretty cool. Could do with a few more of the complicated commands but it's great for starters.

And the usual caution note to FrontPage users that have extensions installed.....Use with caution as you may corrupt the FrontPage server extensions.

.htaccess files can be revised with FP sever extensions installed, but you can not change the order of any existing FP instructions within .htaccess.
