Form to Database - 6/11/2008 8:39:07
I created a form in frontpage to submit basic info name, demographic stuff etc...... I see the access database in the fpdb folder and the table "Results" when I click on the table I don't see any entries. Then when I create a results.asp page I can view the results. I want to view them in the database table. HELP!

Welcome to Outfront Shea34,

Have you instructed FP to send the results of the form to your database?

To do this, right click on the form and go to form properties and you will see in the dialog box to send the results to a database. You will obviously want to select this, then click on the options button which will take you to an area to select the database and table you want to store the information in.

Yes I have the radio button selected to "Send to Database" and when I go to the options I have it going to the RESULTS table. Then when I go to the Access database to read the table nothings there.....

When you click on options and select your database connection and your table, Make sure you then go to the "Saved Fields" Tab.......from here double click on each form field listed and associate it with a field within your table. It will give you a dropdown to select the fields after double clicking

When you submit the form, what happens? are you taken to a confirmation page?
