ASP.NET Controls ? - 6/16/2008 8:01:24
I know very little ASP.NET so I checked to see how EW's ASP.NET Controls work. I created a small Access database and inserted it into a website I use for tests. Everything seemed easy enough and I was able to read the data fine on my local machine. When I uploaded the database and test page and checked the page I got a generic runtime error. Should I have made some kind of change to get my database working on the server?

Does your account with your host have ASP.NET available or enabled?

They are supposed to have it enabled. If the ASP.NET is fine should it be fine on the server?

I haven't used .net in a while. Make sure the setting in you web config file on your production server are correct.

When you say "production server" are you referring to the hosting company. Everything is working fine on my computer. I can see the data.
