Hi Don: Thanks for your latest two posts. Your message posted at 6/25/2008 23:06:08 The #26 is one of many bookmarks that I have on the page. It opens the page at the appropriate place, rather than leaving the viewer to scroll down the page to find the appropriate place when they use the link. These bookmarks work well. Your message posted at 6/25/2008 23:20:23 1. Sorry, my first post was a bit ambiguous. My later posting tells the story better. i.e. "The photos are there, but cannot be seen when doing the insert photo thing.". Earlier this week, I tried various combinations of re-naming the photos and re-opening FrontPage. This did not solved, but there is more that I can do along those lines, if necessary. It looks to me as if some sort of lindexing to these files has not worked correctly, but the photos themselves seem not to be corrupted, as they are now displaying fine on the web site. 2. Thanks for your comments on the naming of my files. I agree that it may look a little wierd, but it follows a convention that works for me, and I'm the only person who updates the web site! Here, in case you are interested, is a brief explanation: - most of the files on my web site begin with 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. depending on the topic. - I've used '_ 'to separate words because I read somewhere that some programs don't like to find file names with spaces in them. - The other spacing that I have used is '_-_' to separate one group of words within a file name from another. That's not really necessary! I'm not suggesting that anybody else should follow the naming convention above but it works for me, and I thought I'd let you know the logic of it. LATEST NEWS: For the past two days I've been adding more photos to the web site. They are working well, and I have been able to find them when I've done the 'insert photo'. So it's only the photos that I added on one day earlier in the week (about 30) that cannot be seen when I do 'insert photo'. If the program continues to work for future photos that I add, I think I'll forget about the problem above and not investigate it any further.. Thanks for your help. - Peter
