Database Results Wizard Problem - 6/30/2008 16:51:50
I'm trying to use the database results wizard(Frontpage 03) to output a table and the error I get on the webpage is "Database Results Wizard Error
Invalid authorization specification." When I go to site settings I can verify the database connection without any problems. Also, if I don't use the wizard and create an ASP script to output the table I don't have any problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to Outfront

This from Microsoft should get you going:

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, you must enable SQL Server standard authentication for the computer that is running SQL Server. To do this, follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Site Settings, and then click the Database tab.
2. Click the database connection that you want modify, and then click Modify.
3. Click Advanced.
4. Under Authorization, click Save this username and password in the data connection, and then type your user name and your password

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've tried the site settings with no luck. Strangely enough, when I leave the username and password empty, I can verify the database connection but the web page doesn't work. But when I supply a username and password the connection fails with a "Login failed for user '#####'." message. I also tried changing the SQL Server authentication to Mixed Mode since I've read this can be a problem as well.
