background issues - 7/2/2008 16:31:53
Can someone please tell me how to use a picture created in photoshop CS3 that contains a light blue background with blurred noise = textured light blue background to which I have layered a dark blue gradient to top and left side to give the effect I want on a web page. When I try to use it as a background .gif in fp2003, of course it wants to tile it. I want to keep it from tiling so that the top of the page has the dark blue gradient, the left side of the page has the dark blue gradient, and the rest of the page is the light, textured blue. I do not use html or css. Any ideas on how to get this effect? Thanks, in advance, for any suggestions.

All we have in OutFront search is: http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m-349/key-non%252Dtiling/tm.htm#349. CSS (not sure about HTML on this one) may be the only answer as Dave mentioned.
