Databases with FP '03 forms - uses SQL Server? - 7/3/2008 16:56:53
Hello

i'm a very new user from FP.

I made a form in FP '03 for a company to save customer datas in a database.

The pages, there included 3 pages, are already finished, but i've got some questions.

1. on the server is the extension Pack for IIS installed, how can i install a database for the form, so that it save datas properly?

2. in the forms are datas, there're requiered and others are optional, how can i verify the requiered datas in the databease?

3. one page is a page to search for the customer number or the customer name, how can i configure the database and the searchpage?

4. wich database should i use?
(for example MySQL or PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Xampp with MySQL)

5. the database must decline double customers and generate automacially a customer number, how configure i the database for automacially genration of an custmer number?

if you want to see it, go to http://80.82.221.105:81

thank you for your help and i hope, you can reply me quickly.

kind regards

GHT
