invisible hit counter in Firefox browser - 7/4/2008 8:03:02
Hi........ I have an invisible hit counter on my site home page, here: www.candylandcrafts.com/ This is the code for the counter: <!--webbot bot="HitCounter" i-image="5" I-ResetValue="0" I-Digits="0" U-Custom="images/invisiblehitcounter.gif" --> In IE there is no indication of the counter. But in Firefox, it says [Hit Counter] Could anyone tell me if there is a way to have the hit counter completely invisible in Firefox as it is in IE?? Thanks!

quote:
In IE there is no indication of the counter Shows in IE7 as well (very bottom of page). Try server-side www.statcounter.com which is: (1) cross-browser compatible, (2) completely invisible, (3) can be inserted on any/all pages, (4) generates complete server stats, and (5) free. Use the >>Insert >> Web Component >> Advanced Controls >>HTML >>Paste commands in the FrontPage body section to register code then Publish.
