Getting Adobe Media Gallery into FP2000 - 7/5/2008 14:01:34
I am trying to insert Adobe Media Gallery into new website pages using FP2000. It's been a long time since I built a website and I can't figure out how it is done. Can someone please describe the steps to follow? Thank you in advance, Mark

Doesn't 'Adobe Media Gallery' have a help section? It should, and it should explain in the help section on how to insert into a web.

Hi Don, Thanks for your reply. There is no help section in Adobe Media Gallery. I'm sure getting gallery files into FP2000 is pretty straight forward, but I'm weak in this area and remain at a loss. Anyone out there know the steps I need to follow once I make a file in AMG? Thx, Mark

Isn't Adobe Media Gallery part of Adobe Bridge? Don't you need that program to integrate Adobe Media Gallery into Adobe Photoshop® CS3. Maybe the Photoshop experts here can answer your question better than I can. I assume you are you trying to do a photo gallery for your web. There are a lot of free programs out there that handle that for you. They create the HTML pages for easy import to your web. Photoshop does it too. So, after the program of your choice creates the html pages for you, you save them in a FOLDER on your web. That keeps them all together as there may be many html pages created for your project. Double check to see that the photos also got transferred. (You did optimize those photos first didn't you?) You should not have to change anything on those created html pages unless you want to modify the photo captions. Most of the programs that I use produce a index.htm page. Then in a page on your web you link to the folder that has the newly created html photo pages and test it on both popular browsers. It can get more complicated but that is the simple way to do it.

Dan, This is what I was looking for. Adobe Media Gallery is part of CS3 Bridge and I will try and see if I can get a gallery into my new FP2000 web. Yes, I have optimized my photos, so they should look great if all goes well. Thanks again!
